Following our communication on the 18th of October 2022, on November 1st, between 08:00 and 09:00 UTC, we will start blocking SMS to the United Kingdom for customers who have not been approved to terminate traffic to restricted countries. Affected interfaces are REST-API, Email to SMS, and Dashboard Campaign Builder/Quick send.
Traffic to other countries or customers that already have been approved to send to restricted countries will not be affected.
Approval to terminate traffic to the United Kingdom (and the other 5 restricted countries) can be requested via our Customer Dashboard: https://dashboard.messagebird.com/en/settings/sms You can use the same link to check the status of your approval.
